Sterling Ranch

Sterling Ranch is the US base for Sterling Quarter Horses, located in the heart of Quarter Horse Country USA in Aubrey, Texas. Just one hour from Dallas Fort Worth International airport and 2 1/2 hours from Oklahoma City, Sterling Ranch is ideally placed for North American or European visitors who come to the area for the major events in the Forth Worth or Oklahoma City areas. Sterling Ranch offers a comprehensive facility for every aspect of the Quarter Horse business under the direction of International rider and FEI Medalist Rosanne Sternberg, from breeding to training and sales.

Ranch personnel specialize in preparing yearlings and two year olds, either to go on with trainers of the owner's choice as three year olds, or for the major fall performance horse sales.

The 2008 stallion roster will include Two Time AQHA World Champion Reining Horse, Nijomi Sonny Reb, AQHA World Champion and 2006 FEI World Reining Masters Champion Tinsel Nic, with earnings in excess of $169,000 and of course NRHA Open Futurity, Derby and AQHA World Champion Smart Spook, his earnings in excess of $300,000.

Handling all enquiries and running the office is Etta Foster, who is usually the first point of contact with the Ranch.

Sterling Ranch manages a proven band of outstanding performance broodmares with youngstock by not only the Ranch Stallions, but industry leading sires including: Topsail Whiz, Smart Chic Olena, Nu Chex To Cash, Wimpys Little Step and Shining Spark, to name just a few.
